My first entry!

Hello everyone!

I am very happy to announce, after SEVERAL weeks of hard work, the official launch of the new version of BestInspiration.com. I am very pleased with this latest version, and I hope you will like it too.

One of the major changes is the splitting of BestInspiration.com into three different web sites:
BestInspiration.com
BestSpirituality.com
and
BestMotivation.com

They are all 3 very similar in their design, but as you might imagine, they differ in their content. Another major change is the introduction of an algorithm that will do some magic for those who register and rate some content. It will provide those members with recommendations based on their ratings and allow them to browse the ratings of some other members, those who are deemed "compatible" by the algorithm. You can read more about this new feature here:
http://www.bestinspiration.com/about.php

I have made several other improvements to the site and those of you who are regular visitors will notice them.

You are among the firsts to learn about the launch of the new version and I would very much appreciate if you could assist me in testing the site(s) by spendind a couple of minutes or more on it (them), maybe registering, rating quotes, books, etc and even submitting new content.
I have no doubt that despite all the testing that I've done, that there are still some hidden issues. And of course, your comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. You can either send them to me privately by email or visit:
http://www.bestinspiration.com/blog/blog.html
and post it there (click on "comments").
By the way, this blog section is also new and I hope to be disciplined enough to write there at least once per week.

As for the daily quote publication, I will continue for a little while to send daily quotes through Topica (where the mailing list has been hosted so far) but will very soon officially move the list to YahooGroups where I expect to be able to reach you more reliably. The list on YahooGroups actually already exists and I would recommend to subscribe to this list as soon as you can to avoid going through a day without your daily inspirational quote! To do so, simply send a blank email to: bestinspiration_dailyquote-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
OR
visit http://www.bestinspiration.com/ and use the form on the left to subscribe.
Actually, you may try this way first and let me know if it works fine. You will know that it works if you receive an email from Yahoo! within a few minutes/hours following your registration, asking you to confirm your subscription...

By the way, as I might have mentioned in the past, my first language is french (I am a frenchCanadian as you can read here: http://www.bestinspiration.com/about.php ) so its very possible that you will find language-related errors on the site. If you find one, please let me know.

Thank you all for your support and please feel free to let me know what you think about all this.

Yours truly,

Stephane Boucher

I don't remember how I got on your list for daily quotations, but I have really enjoyed it, and I look forward to reading it each time a new one is posted. If I especially enjoy the posted quote, I try to pass it on to those who would benefit. Thanks for your service and good luck on your improvements.

Hi Stephane, this is a really interesting new version. I hope this will reach millions of people all over the world. The world is getting smaller and smaller ... back to the little village where everyone knows each other.

After I opened my e-mail, this was the first thing that caught my eye. After reading the blog, I plan on keeping up with the site much more often. This first one was truly inspiring! I have always believed that we DID choose our parents, and also most of our situations in life but am now re-thinking the possibility that we did not. I've also believed that we choose to react to any circumstance, and after reading your blog, well, I just think you really have something there! Because... whether we choose or do not choose our circumstances, they only thing we could ever really choose is how to react and we'd react the same way if we were in another's life (or shoes lol).

Thank you for what you do!

Sharon
